Reverse description The reverse presents a detailed architectural view of the Kolotsky Assumption Monastery (Успенский Колоцкий Монастырь) in the village of Kolotskoe, Mozhaisk district. The central composition depicts the principal cathedral with its large central dome and lantern surmounted by an Orthodox cross, flanked by smaller subsidiary domes and auxiliary church buildings, all rendered with fine engraving detail against a deeply mirrored proof field. Stylized foliage, trees, and clouds occupy the foreground and background, lending a scenic, pictorial quality to the design. The inscription УСПЕНСКИЙ КОЛОЦКИЙ МОНАСТЫРЬ arcs along the upper border in Cyrillic, while the place name КОЛОЦКОЕ appears at the base of the design.
