| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a highly detailed frosted depiction of the Church of the Transfiguration on Kizhi Island, a celebrated 18th-century masterpiece of Russian wooden architecture surmounted by twenty-two onion domes each topped with a cross, rendered in fine satin relief against a mirror-polished black field. The architectural composition is framed within a decorative cartouche with ornamental corner flourishes, evoking a traditional icon-board or lubok border design.
