Fixiki is a Russian animated series launched in 2010, produced by AeroMedia and the Steam Locomotive studio, built around small humanoid creatures who live inside machines and appliances. The Bank of Russia has issued collector coins tied to domestic animated properties with some regularity since the 2010s, and Fixiki joins a roster that includes Cheburashka and Nu, Pogodi! issues. These coins are legal tender in the technical sense but produced exclusively for the collector market.
