| Obverse description | The obverse features the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle displayed, each head surmounted by a crown and the two outer crowns joined by a ribbon, with a larger imperial crown above; the eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left. The central shield depicts St. George on horseback slaying a dragon. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ arcs along the upper periphery, with two small lozenge ornaments flanking the field at mid-height.
