Reverse description The central field depicts a detailed frontal view of the Triumphal Arch of Moscow (Триумфальная Арка), a neoclassical monument completed in 1834 and designed by Osip Bove, shown with its characteristic single archway, flanking columns adorned with relief sculptures, and a chariot-and-horses group crowning the attic storey. Above the arch, two overlapping historical coins are depicted in the upper field, referencing the numismatic heritage of the Russian state. The date 1834 г. appears to the left of the arch, and the inscription МОСКВА (Moscow) to the right. The circular legend 500·ЛЕТИЕ ЕДИНОГО РУССКОГО ГОСУДАРСТВА (500th Anniversary of the United Russian State) runs along the upper periphery from left to right, while ТРИУМФАЛЬНАЯ АРКА (Triumphal Arch) is inscribed along the lower periphery, all separated by raised dots.
