| Obverse description | The obverse features the State Emblem of the Russian Federation — a double-headed eagle displayed, each head surmounted by an imperial crown, with a third larger crown above united by a ribbon, the right talon grasping an orb and the left a sceptre, and a shield on the breast depicting St. George slaying the dragon. The emblem is rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ arcs along the upper periphery, flanked by two decorative square ornaments at either side of the field. Below the emblem, the inscriptions БАНК РОССИИ, 3 РУБЛЯ, and 2018 г. appear in three lines, with the fineness mark Ag 925 to the lower left and the weight designation 31,1 to the lower right, accompanied by the СПМД mint mark. |
