Reverse description A royal crown is displayed at the top of the field, surmounting a crossed sword and scepter arranged saltire-wise. The denomination '3 RIGSBANKSKILLING' is inscribed above the central devices, while the date '18–42' flanks a globe symbol (orb, representing the Altona mint mark) in the lower portion of the field, accompanied by the mintmaster's initials 'F' on either side. The overall design is symmetrical and typical of the restrained official style of Danish billon coinage of the period.
