| Obverse description | Central device features the heraldic eagle of Bremerhaven displayed on a pointed shield, wings spread, head turned to the right, rendered in high relief against a quartefoil-lobed decorative background. The shield is framed by an ornate gothic-style architectural border filling the inner field. The circular legend reads 'DEUTSCHES REICH' along the upper arc and 'DREI REICHSMARK' along the lower arc, separated by ornamental stops. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border running along the coin's rim. |
