Beschrijving voorzijde Six bold Chinese characters rendered in relief within a plain inner circle, reading 湖阜官 / 南南局 (Hunan Fu-Nan Monetary Bureau), arranged in two rows across the field. The legends are incuse-struck in a direct, utilitarian style typical of late Qing provincial bullion issues. The inner circle is enclosed by a second concentric circle, beyond which runs a prominent outer border of evenly spaced raised beads. The flan is notably irregular and convex, consistent with hand-struck or primitive milled bullion production of the period.

Beschrijving keerzijde Six Chinese characters in bold relief arranged in two rows across the field, reading 省足叁 / 平紋錢 (Provincial Scale Fine Silver / 3 Qian), enclosed within a plain inner circle. The inscription certifies both the denomination and the fineness of the silver content, serving as the primary authentication legend on this bullion issue. A second concentric raised circle frames the inner field, beyond which a border of uniformly spaced raised beads encircles the entire reverse. The flan surface displays the same convex, roughly finished character as the obverse, typical of Hunan provincial sycee-style coinage of the late Qing era.
