Obverse description Central crowned shield bearing a rampant lion to sinister, the arms of the Principality of Reuss-Schleiz rendered in fine relief. The shield is surmounted by a princely crown with elaborate foliate detailing. The circular legend reads FÜRSTENTHUM REUSS - SCHLEIZ around the periphery, with a small six-pointed star at the base serving as a stop mark.
