Obverse description Imperial double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread and both heads facing outward, surmounted by a single crown. At the center of the eagle's breast, a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Principality of Oppeln is affixed. The field is plain and the coin is bordered by a fine beaded rim. The design is rendered in a bold, high-relief style characteristic of late 17th-century German minting.

Reverse description A floriated cross with ornate terminals occupies the upper portion of the field, flanked by decorative scrollwork and the date 1694 divided on either side. Below, a beaded circular cartouche encloses a vertically-oriented mark or privy symbol bisected by a horizontal bar, with the denomination numeral '3' displayed prominently beneath within the same cartouche. The composition is framed by a beaded border and rendered in crisp, precise relief consistent with a proof or pattern striking.
