Obverse description Within a beaded inner circle, the arms of Brambach consisting of a comb surmounted by a diagonal bar, enclosed within a wreath border. The circular Latin legend surrounding the wreath reads IO. CH. ABB. CORB., identifying the issuing abbot John Christopher of Brambach and the Abbey of Corvey. A small star or rosette punctuates the legend at the top of the coin.
