Obverse description Crowned ducal cypher 'GA' (for Gustav Adolph) in interlaced monogram, centrally positioned within an open laurel wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The letters are rendered in a bold serif style, with the 'G' superimposed over the 'A'. The wreath branches extend symmetrically to either side, composed of paired leaves, and the whole occupies the full coin field without a surrounding legend.

Reverse description Roman numeral denomination 'III' above the date '1690', both enclosed within a beaded or rope inner circle. The peripheral legend 'LAND + MÜNTZ' (Landmünze, i.e. provincial currency) is arranged around the inner circle, reading continuously and separated by small ornamental stops. The overall design is characteristic of late 17th-century German copper pfennig coinage, with the inscription serving to identify the coin as a locally issued territorial denomination.
