| Obverse description | Central field displays the Hohenzollern eagle of Brandenburg rendered in a bold, somewhat crude hammered style characteristic of late 17th-century minor coinage. The eagle is depicted with spread wings, head facing dexter, and elaborately detailed plumage across the breast and wing feathers. The lower portion of the field shows a decorative foliate or scroll ornament beneath the eagle's talons. The mint mark letters S and D flank the eagle at mid-field, positioned to the left and right respectively, identifying the Stargard mint. No surrounding legend is present on this face. |
