| Obverse description | Central field occupied by the interlaced cursive monogram 'AF' (for Adolphus Frederick) surmounted by a ducal crown. The legend 'V.G.G. H.Z.M.' is distributed to the left and right of the monogram in Latin characters, while the date '1785' appears in the lower exergual area beneath the monogram. The design is plain and typographic in character, typical of minor German state copper coinage of the late 18th century. |
