| Obverse description | Printed entirely in blue ink in letterpress style, the note is framed by ornate guilloche borders with the denomination TRES PESOS repeated at each corner. A vignette of a sailing vessel appears at the upper left, while an oval vignette of the Paraguayan coat of arms is centered at the top.
