| Obverse description | Plain card with typeset text at top reading "THE CIVIL COMMISSIONER, BULAWAYO", followed by a printed instruction advising that the bearer may redeem the card at face value of the stamp affixed thereto if presented on or after 1st August, 1900, and that redemption must occur no later than 1st October, 1900. A circular administrative blind stamp impression appears at centre-right, and the issuer's manuscript signature is inscribed across the lower portion of the card, with the title "Secretary" printed beneath at right. |
