Obverse description Central field bears a trilingual inscription arranged in three vertical panels: Arabic legend to the left reading the Hijri date and denomination, Chinese characters in the centre reading 光緒銀圓三錢 (Guangxu Silver Yuan Three Mace), and Manchu script to the right. The legends collectively identify the issuing authority, denomination of three mithqual of white silver, and the regnal era of the Guangxu Emperor. The entire inscription is contained within a plain inner circle, surrounded by a wreath or foliate border at the rim.

Reverse description A sinuous imperial dragon depicted in high relief occupies the central field, shown facing forward with scaled body, clawed legs extended, and flame-like whiskers and mane radiating outward. Swirling clouds and stylised waves fill the background, rendered in the distinctive Central Asian provincial engraving style characteristic of late Qing Sinkiang coinage. A flaming pearl appears below the dragon's head. The design is enclosed within a plain raised inner circle, with a continuous leafy wreath border running around the outer rim.
