| Obverse description | The obverse displays five large Chinese characters arranged in a columnar layout across the field, reading 迪化光緒銀圓叁錢 — identifying the Dihua (Urumchi) mint, the Guangxu Emperor's reign, and the denomination of three qian silver coin.
