Obverse description Uniformed bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II facing right, depicted in military dress with epaulettes and decorations, set within a beaded inner border. The effigy portrays the emperor in high relief with fine portrait detail including a trimmed moustache. A crowned royal cipher 'W II' appears in the lower right field. No peripheral legend is present on the obverse.

Reverse description The Prussian-style crowned imperial eagle displayed with spread wings, detailed breast shield, and elaborate foliate ornamental base, all rendered in high relief. The circular legend 'DEUTSCHES REICH' arcs across the upper field, flanked by small decorative stars at the lower sides, with the date '1912' to the right. The denomination 'DREI MARK' is inscribed along the lower portion of the legend. The design is enclosed within a beaded border.
