Obverse description Right-facing uniformed bust of Kaiser Wilhelm II, depicted in military dress adorned with epaulettes, decorations, and an elaborate collar, rendered in high relief with finely detailed portraiture. A laurel branch frames the lower left of the bust, with the accession date 1888 inscribed at the lower left and the mint mark 'A' at the bottom center beneath the date 1913. The circumferential legend reads WILHELM II DEUTSCHER KAISER KÖNIG VON PREUSSEN, arcing around the upper field. The portrait, engraved by Otto Schultz, exhibits a naturalistic academic style characteristic of Wilhelmine commemorative coinage.
