The circular legend DEUTSCHES REICH runs along the upper periphery, reading from left to right, in widely spaced Roman capitals. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. The composition of the lettering and central value gives the reverse a clean, modernist typographic character consistent with Weimar-era coin design. |
