| Obverse description | Bare-headed right-facing effigy of Friedrich II, Grand Duke of Baden, rendered in high relief with finely detailed facial features and close-cropped hair. The portrait occupies the central field with strong sculptural modelling typical of German Imperial coinage. The circumferential legend reads FRIEDRICH II GROSSHERZOG VON BADEN, arranged along the inner border. The mint mark G appears at the bottom of the field below the portrait. A continuous beaded border frames the entire obverse. |

| Reverse description | Central device consists of the Imperial German eagle displayed, with wings spread and head turned to the right, surmounted by a royal crown. The eagle's breast bears a heraldic shield, and ornate foliate mantling extends below the main device. Two small six-pointed stars flank the denomination legend at the lower field. The inscription DEUTSCHES REICH and the date 1915 arc along the upper periphery, while DREI MARK is inscribed in two lines across the lower field. A continuous beaded border surrounds the reverse. |
