| Obverse description | The obverse is framed by ornate Art Nouveau borders: a upper frieze of putti and foliate scrollwork flanking a central oval vignette of a tree, with large numeral '3' medallions at upper left and right. The central text panel carries the issuing society's name and place in two lines, followed by a dedication clause in smaller Gothic-influenced letterpress type, the date 'Buchau, den 23. Juni 1921', and three handwritten signatories with their titles below. A bold printed serial number appears at centre, and a lower decorative frieze of heraldic eagles amid acanthus scrolls frames the denomination '3 Mark' in a central oval. |
