Beschrijving voorzijde	The left half of the note is occupied by a large woodcut-style vignette of the Bad Doberan municipal coat of arms, displaying a leaping stag above a swan on a quartered shield, surmounted by a mural crown and set within decorative scrollwork, printed in black and red on a tan ground. The town name BAD DOBERAN appears in bold red Gothic lettering across the upper left, with the serial number and account designation (Konto B) printed in black along the lower margin. To the right, a vertical text panel in German script authorizes payment of three Mark from the Sparkasse der Stadt Doberan in Mecklenburg to the bearer, with the denomination "drei Mark" rendered in a decorative red cartouche scroll.
