Reverse description Central motif depicts the Imperial orb (Reichsapfel), a globe surmounted by a cross and encircled by a band, with the numeral '3' denoting the denomination prominently displayed within the orb. The date 1623 is divided on either side of the orb. The entire device is enclosed within a beaded inner border, with a circular Latin legend surrounding it between two beaded borders, citing the titles of Holy Roman Emperor Ferdinand II.
