| Beschrijving keerzijde | Double-headed Imperial eagle displayed, with wings spread, each head crowned, bearing on its breast an ornate shield of the Habsburg arms. The date 1696 is divided across the upper field, flanking the central crown. The mintmaster's initials F-T appear in a cartouche at the base below the eagle's tail. The surrounding Latin legend MONETA NOV ARG TRANSYL identifies the coin as new silver money of Transylvania. A beaded inner border encircles the entire design. |
