| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central design displays a quartered heraldic shield bearing the arms of the Duchy of Liegnitz-Brieg, surmounted by a ducal crown. The numeral '3' appears prominently in the lower portion of the field, denoting the denomination. The legend, separated by decorative stops, encircles the shield and records the date 1622. The overall composition is characteristic of the Kipper und Wipperzeit emergency coinage period, with somewhat crude but vigorous hammered workmanship. |

Georg Rudolf ruled Liegnitz-Brieg during one of the most economically catastrophic episodes in Central European monetary history: the Kipper- und Wipperzeit, roughly 1619–1623, when territorial mints across the Holy Roman Empire — including those of Silesian duchies — competed to debase coinage as aggressively as possible, pocketing the difference between face value and metal content. This 3 Kreuzer belongs to that debased flood. The multiple Friedensburg references reflect genuine die variation across a production run that was never intended to be careful or consistent.
