Franz von Dietrichstein governed Olomouc during one of the most violent ruptures in Central European history. The Bohemian Revolt erupted in May 1618 with the Defenestration of Prague, and this two-year issue straddles the precise moment the Thirty Years' War began. Dietrichstein, a cardinal and one of the most powerful Catholic figures in Moravia, remained firmly in Habsburg hands throughout — his coinage continued even as Protestant forces destabilized the region around him.
KM#90 is a short-lived type by definition, confined to a two-year window before the monetary disruptions of the war altered small silver production across the bishopric.
