Obverse description Bare-headed right-facing portrait bust of Emperor Ferdinand I occupying the central field, rendered in fine relief with naturalistic hair detail. The emperor is depicted with a plain truncation at the shoulder. A circular beaded border frames the design. The legend encircles the bust along the periphery, interrupted at the base by the mint mark 'A' positioned below the truncation.
