Löwenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort was among the smallest of the Rhenish Confederation's predecessor states — a fragmented county whose monetary output in the final years of the Holy Roman Empire was negligible by any measure. These 3 Kreuzer pieces under Dominik Constantin were struck in the last window before mediatization in 1806 extinguished the family's sovereign coining rights entirely, absorbed into the Napoleonic reorganization of German territories. The county never struck coins again.
