Obverse description Crowned episcopal coat of arms of the Prince-Bishop of Würzburg, featuring a quartered shield combining the Franconian rake with the family arms of Greiffenklau-Vollraths, flanked by crossed sword and crozier as episcopal insignia. The shield is surmounted by a princely crown and surrounded by elaborate baroque mantling. The encircling Latin legend reads across the upper and lower fields, divided by the crown. The overall composition is rendered in a fine baroque engraving style typical of mid-18th century German ecclesiastical coinage.
