| 裏面の説明 | The crowned arms of Württemberg occupying the central field, with the date divided and placed to either side at the top of the shield. A decorative wreath of palm branches frames the lower portion of the design, converging beneath the shield in an elegant baroque arrangement typical of mid-eighteenth century German principality coinage. |

Charles Eugen became Duke of Württemberg in 1744 at age sixteen, initially under the regency of his uncle. By 1746 he was governing independently, though his reign would later become synonymous with fiscal abuse — he effectively sold military conscripts to foreign powers and taxed his subjects into repeated revolt. The Estates of Württemberg eventually forced him before the Imperial Aulic Council in 1764. These early silver kreuzers predate that constitutional crisis by nearly two decades.
