| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field features the crowned shield of Austria — displaying the distinctive horizontal barry pattern of the Austrian arms — set within an ornate cartouche with scrollwork and foliate ornaments. A royal crown surmounts the shield. The surrounding Latin legend continues the issuer's titles and concludes with the date of issue, rendered in the period convention whereby the numeral '2' is stylised as 'Z', reading '16ZZ' for 1622. The overall engraving style is consistent with provincial hammered silver coinage of the Thirty Years' War era. |

The 1622 date places this squarely in the Kipper- und Wipperzeit, the currency debasement crisis that swept the Holy Roman Empire during the early Thirty Years' War. Mints across Silesia — including ecclesiastical ones — slashed silver content dramatically to exploit fixed exchange rates, flooding markets with underweight small coinage before the inevitable monetary collapse. The Bishopric of Breslau was no exception.
At 0.64 g, this piece reflects exactly that debasement in physical form.
