| Descrizione del dritto | Central field features the quartered arms of Saxe-Meiningen, displaying the traditional Saxon barry with a crown of rue (Rautenkranz) in bend, surmounted by a ducal crown. The mintmaster's initials 'S' and 'M' appear flanking the shield in the left and right fields respectively. The heraldic shield is rendered in a plain style characteristic of small German state coinage of the early nineteenth century. |
