Obverse description Central field displays two crossed heraldic shields: the dexter shield bearing the arms of the City of Konstanz (horizontal bars), and the sinister shield bearing the episcopal arms (crossed keys under a papal tiara), reflecting the city's dual civic and ecclesiastical authority. A crown surmounts the shields at top center. The date 1680 is divided across the field, with '16' to the upper left and '80' at the base of the shields. The circular legend MONO CIVICONSTANTIEN is arranged around the periphery, enclosed within a beaded border.
