| Obverse description | The Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed in the central field, surmounted by three crowns — a large central imperial crown flanked by two smaller ones — with elaborately spread wings bearing six heraldic shield cartouches. The eagle holds a sceptre in its right talon and an orb in its left, with a central shield on the breast depicting St. George slaying the dragon. Surrounding the eagle, a continuous circular legend in Cyrillic characters repeats the denomination '3 КОПѢЙКИ' five times around the entire circumference of the coin. |
