| Obverse description | Dark blue on light green guilloche underprint. The city arms of Zhytomyr — a fortified tower within a crowned cartouche — is centred at top, flanked by laurel garlands and ornamental corner devices bearing the denomination numeral 3. The face value ТРИ КАРБОВАНЦІ is printed in bold Cyrillic across the centre, below which the year 1918 and the issuing legend РОЗМІННИЙ БІЛЕТ МІСТА ЖИТОМИРА appear, followed by a guarantee text in Ukrainian. Two manuscript signatures appear above a decorative banner at the base. |
