Obverse description Central device features the Czechoslovak socialist coat of arms: a shield bearing the double-tailed rampant lion of Bohemia, surmounted by a five-pointed star at the shield's apex. The shield is rendered in a simplified, stylised form characteristic of socialist-era heraldry. The circular legend 'ČESKOSLOVENSKÁ SOCIALISTICKÁ REPUBLIKA' runs along the upper periphery, with the mint year positioned at the base of the design.

Additional information

Produced for only two years before being discontinued, this denomination was effectively rendered obsolete by inflation eroding its purchasing power to near nothing. Czechoslovakia quietly dropped it from circulation without formal demonetization fanfare — it simply stopped being made.
