| 背面描述 | The large numeral '3' occupies the central field in bold relief, flanked symmetrically on both sides by ascending linden branch sprays bearing stylised leaves, forming an open wreath. A five-pointed star is positioned prominently at the apex, above the numeral, serving as a Socialist emblem. The composition is clean and uncluttered, with the denomination rendered in a plain, utilitarian typeface consistent with mid-twentieth-century Czechoslovak coin design. |

The 1953–54 Czechoslovak coinage reform was a brutal monetary reset imposed under Soviet pressure, wiping out savings by exchanging old currency at punishing rates — 50:1 for amounts above a modest threshold. These small aluminium pieces were among the first coins issued under the reformed system, a currency deliberately designed to eliminate accumulated private wealth and reset the economy along socialist lines.
