She holds a long spear or lance in her right hand and rests her left hand upon an ornately decorated altar or column displaying a crowned escutcheon with fleurs-de-lis. The date '1796' is inscribed in the exergue at the base. The circular Latin legend 'HAC NITIMVR HANC TVEMVR' surrounds the figure, and the coin's border is defined by a continuous ring of beading. |
