Below the shield, the inscription GROSA·G / TRIP·OPC / ET·RAT appears in three horizontal lines, identifying the coin as a triple grosch of Oppeln and Ratibor. The mint mark letters BZ appear in the exergue, identifying the mintmaster. The die style is typical of Silesian hammered coinage of the early 17th century. |
