Reverse description Crowned coat of arms of the Duchy of Oppeln-Ratibor, flanked by decorative foliate or eagle-wing ornaments on either side, with the Roman numeral III prominently displayed above the shield, denoting the denomination of three groschen. Below the shield, the inscription GROSA·G / TRIP·OPC / ET·RAT appears in three horizontal lines, identifying the coin as a triple grosch of Oppeln and Ratibor. The mint mark letters BZ appear in the exergue, identifying the mintmaster. The die style is typical of Silesian hammered coinage of the early 17th century.
