| 正面描述 | Central field features the coat of arms of the city of Riga, depicted as a stylized city gate with towers, flanked by the date numerals 15 and 80 on either side. The encircling legend is divided across multiple lines in the field below and around the central device, rendered in a characteristic hammered Gothic style. |

Stephen VIII (Ștefan Răzvan) ruled Moldavia for roughly four months in 1595 before being overthrown and executed by Sigismund Bathory's forces. His coinage is among the briefest-reign issues in Moldavian numismatics, and the Type IIb distinction within his already compressed series points to at least two die phases crammed into that window — suggesting the mint at Suceava was working under pressure to establish monetary legitimacy for a ruler who would not survive the year.
