Reverse description Crowned bust of Voivode Stephen of Moldavia facing right, rendered in the crude, vigorous style typical of hammered Moldavian coinage of the period. The ruler is depicted wearing a crown with visible decorative elements above the brow, with facial features including a prominent nose and beard indicated in low relief. A ruffled collar is visible at the neck. The surrounding circular legend, partially legible, identifies the issuer as Voivode of Moldavia. The flan is irregular in shape, as is characteristic of hammered coinage of this era.
