| 表面の説明 | At the top of the obverse, an auroch head is depicted within an oval cartouche, flanked by a small rose on each side. The central field bears a two-line Latin legend. Stephen VIII (Ștefan Răzvan) ruled Moldavia for barely four months in 1595 before being captured and executed by Polish-backed rival Ieremia Movilă. That compressed reign makes any coinage attributed to him exceptionally scarce by default — not by minting accident, but by political arithmetic. The MBR Type Ia designation places this among the earliest die classification within his issue, suggesting production began promptly after he seized power in April with Transylvanian support.
