| Obverse description | Armored bust of Prince György Rákóczi I facing right, wearing a plumed helmet and plate armor with a ruffled collar, rendered in the Central European baroque style typical of Transylvanian coinage. The effigy occupies the central field with fine engraved detail on the cuirass and shoulder pauldrons. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait, reading G.RAK.D.G.P.T.P.R.H.D.S.C, an abbreviated title formula identifying the prince by the grace of God. The coin exhibits a small circular hole, indicating post-mint use as a pendant or ornament. |
