Additional information

The Tuamotu Archipelago has no monetary authority of its own — it is an administrative subdivision of French Polynesia, which itself uses the CFP franc issued by the Institut d'émission d'outre-mer. This piece has no legal tender status under any recognized monetary framework. It is a privately produced fantasy note or exonumia item marketed toward collectors of zodiac-themed series, of which dozens of issuers — many equally fictitious — flooded the market through the 2010s and 2020s.
