| Beschrijving keerzijde | The bimetallic centre depicts a stylised abstract emblem composed of two angular, arrow-like geometric forms suggesting forward motion and statehood, rendered across contrasting textured fields divided by a central vertical band. This graphic motif references the official 30th anniversary logo of the Republic of Slovenia. The inscriptions 'SLOVENIJA' and 'REPUBLIKA' are engraved vertically along the central dividing elements within the inner disc, while the numeral '30' with the Slovenian word 'LET' (meaning 'years') appears in the right field. The outer nickel silver ring carries a uniformly textured surface consistent with the obverse. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
Slovenia declared independence from Yugoslavia on June 25, 1991, following a ten-day war that resulted in fewer than a hundred casualties — one of the least bloody secessions in modern European history. The Territorial Defence Forces held long enough for international pressure to force a Yugoslav Army withdrawal, and the European Community formally recognised the new state in January 1992.
This commemorative three-euro denomination is peculiar to Slovenia, used since 2007 for collector issues tied to nationally significant dates.
