背面描述 An armored equestrian figure, identified as Saint George or a knightly rider, mounted on a prancing horse and depicted in vigorous motion across the field. The rider raises a sword aloft in his right hand and bears a shield on his left arm, evoking the chivalric ideals of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The scene is enclosed by a beaded inner border with the Latin legend DEI GRATIA ROMANORVM IMPERII PRINCEPS running along the outer rim, affirming Wilhelm's status as a Prince of the Holy Roman Empire. The composition is rendered in the bold, expressive manner typical of Bohemian late Renaissance hammered coinage.

附加信息

Wilhelm von Rosenberg received the Order of the Golden Fleece in 1585 — a remarkable distinction for a Bohemian nobleman who held no royal title. The honor came directly from Philip II of Spain, and this triple ducat issue almost certainly commemorates that investiture. The Rosenberg family, at the peak of their political influence in Bohemia, were among the wealthiest magnates in Central Europe, controlling vast estates and maintaining a court that rivaled many minor sovereigns.

Wilhelm died in 1592 without an heir, ending the senior Rosenberg line entirely. Pieces struck under his authority became dynastic relics almost immediately.
